Scott authored or co-authored (with Mike Meyers) over two dozen IT certification books, including “CompTIA Network+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide” (McGraw Hill) and “Mike Meyers’ CompTIA Security+ Certification Guide” (McGraw Hill).

Scott has taught seminars on building, fixing, and securing computers and networks all over the United States, including stints at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and the UN Headquarters in New York City, New York.

Scott is a versatile educator with expertise in delivering knowledge through multiple formats, including in-person and online classroom instruction, published writing, and video-based learning. He is skilled at adapting content to meet diverse learner needs across traditional and digital environments. Scott is specialized in creating content that enables learners to grasp complex concepts and develop work-ready skills in information technology and cybersecurity.

His track record includes designing globally resilient security architectures, leading large-scale technology transformations, building and managing global teams, and consistently delivering multi-million-dollar savings while strengthening organizational security posture and operational resilience.
